Artist In Residence ~ Edisto Beach State Park, Day 4

May 15, 2015  •  5 Comments

Like every wave that crashes upon the shore, every second of a sunrise or sunset brings a different view to our eyes.  The amazing cloud cover this morning gave way to an exploding sunrise over the ocean at Edisto Beach.

Quickly moving to another location over the marsh gave yet one more reflection of the new day ahead.

There are several well maintained trails throughout the Edisto Beach State Park that give both the runner and walker quiet, shaded walks.  The bright tree fungus, oddly placed mushrooms, and rambling honeysuckle add the extra color during this time of the year.

A trip to Kings Farm Market for those wonderful local tomatoes also allowed for several close up flower photos from their fields of Zinnias and Sunflowers..

Thank you for visiting and enjoying my adventures.  More to come as the crowd here at the Edisto Beach State Park begins to pick up for the beautiful weekend ahead.

Have really enjoyed your perspective of a place all South Carolinians have in their blood. Great job and am glad you were chosen -- on my way down this morning!
