Many Americans will always remember the tragic events of 9/11/01, the day the terrorist attacked the United States. Six years after that tragic day, 9/11 began to have a whole new relevance in my life. That was the day in which I had the ultimate honor of watching my grandson arrive into this world. Unless you have been through this, no one can adequately tell you how humbling this experience can make you feel. Our God is awesome and his creations are perfect! How priceless this moment was for me.
Just as babies do….. Spencer gave me a whole new reason to take photos!
This antique baby stroller was so frail, yet we were determined to catch this cute shot.
But how to get him to sit still? A pickle, of course!
Time continues to speed along and little Mr. Spencer has quickly and quietly grown up way past the baby stage.
I was thrilled several weeks ago when the daily schedules finally meshed and gave me about an hour to capture Spencer and his brother with a back to school session.
Damian thought that it’s pretty cool that he is going into the 4th grade
and Spencer is going to 4 year old kindergarten.
Byrd Elementary may never be the same. . .
During one of their silly moments,
I found out that Damian loves to sing
Chicken Fried by the Zac Brown Band
continues to be a
THRILLER ~ Michael Jackson fan!
Now what gets these special brothers in trouble? Can you see it?
Spencer loves to throw things (everything) and quiet Damian gets caught chatting a bit too much.
Between GI Joe men,
Video games, and toy guns
being their favorite
things to do
they keep life
at the Scott house
full speed every day.
These fellows are blessed with a home full of love from their Papa, Grandma (aka ‘Deber’ ) and their beautiful Mommy.
So at the end of the day as they are tucked in, there is nothing sweeter than to hear them say their simple “I LOVE YOU, night, night”.
